Outside

I remember the day I first got my cycle. It waz my 10th birthday I think. I'd always really wanted a bicycle coz Saurav and Shahanaz already had cycles and they would race every morning. Sourav's cycle waz blue and Shahanaz's waz yellow and red. I bought a maroon one. A Hero Devil DX.
I remember the minute it came into my house I kept ringing the bell on it incessantly. I was so damn excited. And then Sourav and his sister came down to admire it. The next morning the three of us woke up at 6 and decided to go on an early morning ride. But the problem waz I hadn't yet learnt to balance. I kept falling off and cutting myself but in about three dayz time I waz zooming around the neighbourhood happily. :)
Every weekend the three of us would faithfully wake up at 6 and go to the empty post office groundz and cycle there. The post office ground waz rough but we liked it.
It waz bliss. We lived in a pretty peaceful place with very little traffic and huge trees along the roadz and the weather there waz alwayz pleasant. So we pretty much had the place to ourselves.
Once I had an accident where I crashed into a parked car and almost fell into the gutter. The car did get damaged a bit. I didn't go there for a few weekz.
But then we all grew up and became busy people. I continued going to piano classes on my cycle but then I got tired of it and I stopped.

In kolkata itz impossible to actually go anywhere cycling coz the roadz and traffic are so bad. Now my cycle iz lying in the garage covered in dust. I did get it fixed once but after the tires ran out of air I didn't bother. Now all I do is watch my brother cycle around the place nearly killing people.

<3

What I did on Valentinez day:
I went to school where there were 22 people absent in my class out of 38. 23 if you include the class teacher.
Listening to all my friendz talk about their boyfriendz/girlfriendz and what they did and what giftz they're buying each other, etc. And going green with envy. A certain person haz a mega rich borfriendz who buyz her really cool but relatively uzeless stuff. :P
Drinking coffee while staring at my chemiztry textbook. (More drinking and less staring at the book).
Studying a chapter of which I've forgotten everything.
Listening to sad songz. :(
And Dare you to move by Switchfoot and Burn it down by Alter Bridge...and Nymphetamine :)
And My Immortal. :(
Finishing 'One' by Richard Bach. WIERD book but quite nice actually.
Well I better get back to my bookz. My examz start next week. :(

TTIS

So, to the great happiness of Neo the great hu haz been pestering me to write about the TTIS fest, I am doing so. (sorry for the crappy english, I'm listening to Nymphetamine for the 9th time today and i'm addicted to the song).

So TTIS iz suppozed to be the biggest school fest in Kolkata. It waz less crowded than I thought though - the way they were advertising it i thought half the city would turn up and we wouldn't even have place to stand, but thankfully it wazn't and we got ample place to stand, sit, scream, dance like tribalz(or whatever those people did after winning), do the train dance and kick people
whenever it waz deemed necessary. ;)

Jokez apart...
I guess I should now start writing about the performances. Rather a particular performance by a certain school. Or rather a certain performance by a certian person. A certain person who happenz to be undoubtedly one of the best bassistz in the place. A bassist who iz at the moment reading this and smiling like this - :o)

So anyway...I turned up a bit late so i missed the first 3 or 4 performances. DBPC waz 2nd and they played PSP 12. Excellent bassing, excellent guitaring, excellent vocalz, excellent drumming...Heil Slappy. :) What more can I say?
And then after they won they did the train dance around the whole place. Oh, and this guy from CBS had a really ugly yellow guitar. YELLOW. They played Sweet Child Of mine...not too bad. but they took hourz setting up so they lost pointz for that.

But that day we really did have a lot of fun. :)

[Slappy i hope ur happy now coz i cant write any more].

Songz..

i somehow really love this song. itz really gotten to me. and the other one song that i'm currently mad about iz Lazarus by Porcupine tree. i waz so obsessed with it i actually managed to play it on piano and i waz(and still am) really excited about it but the initial euphoria'z gone though. :P . Lazarus is actually okayish-ly easy once you get the notes. getting the notez is the hardest part. itz the most difficult thing i've played on piano WITHOUT SHEET MUZIC. and thatz a good accomplishment. i'm not exactly tired of Lazarus but i'm more in the mood for this song -

Dropz of Jupiter - Train
Now that shes back in the atmosphere
With drops of jupiter in her hair, hey, hey
She acts like summer and walks like rain
Reminds me that theres time to change, hey, hey
Since the return from her stay on the moon
She listens like spring and she talks like june, hey, hey

Tell me did you sail across the sun
Did you make it to the milky way to see the lights all faded
And that heaven is overrated

Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star
One without a permanent scar
And did you miss me while you were looking at yourself out there

Now that shes back from that soul vacation
Tracing her way through the constellation, hey, hey
She checks out mozart while she does tae-bo
Reminds me that theres time to grow, hey, hey

Now that shes back in the atmosphere
Im afraid that she might think of me as plain ol jane
Told a story about a man who is too afraid to fly so he never did land

Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back to the milky way
And tell me, did venus blow your mind
Was it everything you wanted to find
And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there

Can you imagine no love, pride, deep-fried chicken
Your best friend always sticking up for you even when I know youre wrong
Can you imagine no first dance, freeze dried romance five-hour phone
Conversation
The best soy latte that you ever had . . . and me

Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back toward the milky way
